Pebworth Parish Neighbourhood Plan

Successful Referendum

A Referendum on the Pebworth Parish Neighbourhood Plan was held by Wychavon District Council on Thursday 25 July 2019. There was a 26% turnout, with an impressive 90.4% voting in favour of the Plan.

Having worked with Pebworth Parish Council and the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group since 2016 we are delighted with this result.  We were involved with the Plan throughout the process, from the initial community engagement through to the referendum. We assisted the group with evidence gathering, drafting the plan, ensuring it met the basic conditions, and each of the consultation stages including submitting the Plan for examination.

The Neighbourhood Plan proposes a number of policies on issues including housing, design, the natural environment, community facilities and rural employment.

Consideration of the adoption of the Pebworth Parish Neighbourhood Plan will be heard at a meeting at Wychavon District Council on Wednesday 18 September 2019.
